It's so nice to learn from your years of experience Jake. Thank you for putting so much thought in to building these skills, one upon the next. I look forward to gaining confidence in my ink-work until the pen feels like an extension of my hand/brain. Just a few short years... I want to ink like Charles Dana Gibson.

This comprehensive ink drawing course with SVS instructor and artist, Jake Parker will leave you wanting for more. He is a master in all he does and it's great that he is willing to share his knowledge and experience with us. From a basic level to the more advanced, you will gain applicable skills to use in your ink drawings and even in other mediums, too. Kudos to you, Jake and thank you.

This was very easy to follow. Seeing how it's done just makes it easier to learn. I can take what I learned here and look at other artist's and now I understand how they inked their work. That's the biggest take away for me. I really love the inking classes! Thanks so much!

I can't thank you enough for this course. I didn't know where to start to improve my inking. Even though I knew it was something I knew needed to improve, it seemed like an impossible mountain to climb. But the simplicity of the tutorials made it easy to start. Now thanks to the ideas this course has given me, I'm starting out my day practicing the basics. It's only been a few days but I've already seen a lot of improvement in my work. I know after I put in the work and time to master these techniques I will no longer dread inking my work. As a side note, I'm working digitally in Photoshop with a Cintiq 13 and nearly every technique translates into this medium. Just another great thing about this course!

Thank you, Jake. The course was very helpful and fun. I'm not a beginner, but I realized that I basically ignored some major rules all my life (e.g. weight) So right now I'm looking through piles of older pencil drawings of mine and apply my new inking skills to those....such an improvement!!!

I first learned how to ink from Jake's original How to Ink video, and this one is a splendid update. The fundamentals, demos and exercises are all well-explained. Jake is a personable, encouraging instructor. He makes you want to jump right in with inking! The included practice sheets offer a great range of complexity.

I really enjoyed How to Ink 2.0. I learned a great deal and feel like I've seen an improvement in my inking even in the short time that I've taken the class. I specifically took this class in preparation of Inktober so I hope to use some of my new knowledge to improve even more. It was fantastic how much more in depth Jake went into the specifics of the terms associated with inking. I took tons of notes and have often referred back to them while drawing. Thank you for the time and effort put into the creation of this class. It is much appreciated.

I am working on my first illustrated novel and being self-taught, I was really nervous about the line work. I could not figure out why my illustrations did not look like comics. I just finished this class with the drawing of a dragon in armour and a sweet little tree. AND THE BOTH LOOK like real COMICS!. (Both drawings are part of the final tutorial of this course) I have learnt a lot in these four hours. In fact I just went over some comic books and I can understand now why the line is thick in and place thinner in other. This course covers the basics, and I find this to be fundamental to understanding inking and how comics are done. None of the books I have read on the subject made it so clear to me. This is really one of the best short courses I have taken! The course is clear, starts from zero explains everything, is right to the point. I really like the exercises, they do improve one's line work and control over the pen or brush. I just hope I can translate what I learnt here to my current and future work. Just be aware that this is NOT a drawing course! THanks so much to the teacher!

Absolutely one of the best online teacher ever! He is very clear & very professional, his lessons are a pleasure to follow! I await a new drawing course...whatever it is!
