Read MoreWell I just bought a domain for my website and was really thrilled to upload my illustration when I started this course...so now I deleted everything and started working on real quality illustrations. I won't make the website public until I have at least 10 pieces of good work to show. Even though it is a 1 hour course, it is really consistent and helpful. I really want to send my portfolio out to agents and art directors so I need to put my head to work based on what you guys said. Thanks again.

Read MoreHi guys, I just wanted to say I loved this class. Lots of food for thought for a person who has made art on and off all her life but is only getting back into it with serious and haughty aspirations to make a serious go of it. Thank you for all the imagery that made clear what the words were saying. Especially useful were the ‘20 pages’, how many to a page, combine the ideas into one image, leave clear or light coloured areas for text - all those handy practical tips. I’m concurrently reading ‘How to be an illustrator’ by Darrel Rees which has a terrific chapter on producing a portfolio. In tandem all of this information makes complete sense and given me lots of ideas as to the subject matter I can now start putting together. You guys are laid back yet incisive and varied enough with your opinions to have covered most bases. Thanks again and at some point, probably fairly soon, I’ll likely subscribe to get access to all the classes. I’m loving your podcasts and wishing they’d come out faster than they have been! Full of useful information. This reminds me to go and leave a review as requested :) Cheers from Australia, Tig Beswick

Read MoreVery interesting and informative class. I am trying to develop my own portfolio and it gave some clear direction on what to include. I especially liked the idea of combining categories in one picture. Very informative and entertaining class. It kept my interest all the way to the end.

Read MoreI appreciated the Parting tip on which to prioritize and the clarification on combining these concepts. It may have been obvious to most but I tend to think literally. Mentioning a set amount of pages to build a portfolio off of also gives us a measurable goal to aim for. The advice on what not to include was something I never thought to ask but was just as valid as the recommended content. Learned a lot from this class and was given a clearer direction on what pieces I should focus on. Thanks a bunch guys :)

Read MoreI was overwhelmed when I seen the list, but watching the video I could see exactly why the list would be useful. The video was helpful and informative and I was able to review what I have for my portfolio and clear see what needs work and what by some happy reason I got some of them right. So in the end loved it and I have some direction. On to the next one.
