Therese Larsson

Therese is a freelance illustrator based in Stockholm, Sweden, specialising in character design and realism. She works mainly in the field of advertising where she does final art, storyboarding for film and general concept art. She has been working full time as a freelancing illustrator since 2006.

This course takes painting fur to the next level! Therese Larsson was already one of my inspirations, so it was a pleasure getting to know her and her techniques. I'm a traditional artist but I can easily apply what I learned to my artwork on paper. She brought up memories and experiences that, surprisingly, we both shared as artists who are all learning (I didn't think we could have experienced the same things, like she's AMAZING and I'm just me, but yeah it's true). This course made me aspire to be the best I can be, and to think differently about the way light and depth work in fur. Therese also reminded me to enjoy the journey and the struggle, the "leveling up" feeling will come again. She puts things in an interesting way that is a combination of entertaining and educational. Plus that gorgeous fox! Thank you for this class!
