Learn to draw the figure step by step!

If you want to be an illustrator, you will definitely need to be able to draw figures well. But, isn't figure drawing hard? There can be so many ways to approach it and many classes make it more difficult and confusing than it has to be. Well, not anymore...

Figure Drawing for Illustrators is a fundamental course that takes away the pain of learning to draw the figure. This foundational class uses techniques that you will use to draw figures, and then build on this information in later classes to develop all sorts of fun characters for your illustrations.

In this course you will learn how to draw dynamic figures using step-by-step technique with each lesson building on the last.

Starting with simple line exercises, Lee takes you through basic shapes and gradually adds complexity and detail along the way. You will gradually learn simple structures and landmarks that make drawing the figure simple and straight forward.

This class is taught by Lee White who perfected this methodology by teaching it to beginning illustrators and animators at the college level for 7 years.  Hundreds of students upped their figure drawing ability using this technique and you can too! By the end of this class your figures will look better than they ever have before.

This class also preps you for other figure drawing classes in our curriculum such as Gesture Drawing and Character Design.
