I thought it was great to see the complete workflow of editorial illustration, as this is an area that I'm interested working in. Also something new I have learnt is the method of adding textures.
Really enjoyed this, fascinating to see the thoughts and process between initial brief and finished illustration.

About the Instructor
James Yang has worked as an illustrator for over 30 years and has won over 250 awards for illustration and design, including the Best of Show for 3x3 Magazine and a silver medal from the Art Directors Club of New York. His illustrations have appeared in publications worldwide and in illustration annuals of Communication Arts, 3x3 Magazine, American Illustration, and Print Magazine. James currently lives in Brooklyn.
