This was a great way to learn about process at a well balanced pace. Watching the artwork come together and picking up tips and skills was a plus for me. Also not having to wonder "how did he do that", because it was explained well, was a definite help!

This is by far the best, most detailed tutorial I’ve ever seen. You can tell they truly want you to comprehend the material. I love this site!

I loved this class. It is so true that many artists only know 5% of photoshop ~ that is the case with me as well! But seeing how an artist uses the 5% they know in the form of a work flow is soooo helpful! In fact, a video library of artists workflows in Photoshop (and Procreate!) would be amazing! (Would you consider it?) Seeing how Photoshop can function in the context of an individual artist’s workflow makes learning how to use the program so much easier because the context makes it memorable! It makes sense of the program and helps it stick in my brain :). I can’t tell you how many times I have watched Deek’s Photoshop classes on Lynda.com ~ the fact is, no matter how many times I watch them or how detailed my notes are, it doesn’t stick! And, I can’t always see an application for the techniques.(Not to mention that it is soooo boring!) In contrast, I hardly took any notes on your technique, Will, but the whole workflow is emblazoned on my brain! Yay! That color enhancement technique and the texture brushes were my favorite parts. Thank you so much!

It was interessting to see how Will is going through the whole prozess of painting, many tips, learned a lot. Also loved the part with the texture brush.

Amazing step-by-step, Will! Packed with great information and advice, it helped me understand this particular way of painting, which is what I'd been trying to do, unsuccessfully (because I was trying to do it the other way around - watercolor style). Also this is the very course that prompted me to watch your other courses and fill the blanks in my art education.
